Thanks. Yeah, it looks like the blade will push the water but that it can just wash over with the "scoop" being on the wrong side.


I can't find this type of impeller on line anywhere showing both, like they do on the video. The shape of the blades on the video are a no brainer for direction.

This is the pump I run on my camaro,it does a good job and has all the lugs for ps ans ac brackets, it has the big bearings and Is Clockwise rotation,

Summitt usually ships my parts in a couple days,,

There will be no chance on that purchase. That will be 500 bucks for me by the time it gets here. Gotta love this country....


Anyhow, I've never had issues with a SBC before with stock style pumps and I don't intend to start having em now, even if I'm having temporary issues at present....damn it, I will win.....

I say it depends on what hemisphere you drive in.

Here is a little crash fix thing, and a pic showing how I cheat at fab by stepping with a bead roller where I need a bend.







Yes thats getting mud and paint but the 'junk stops here.

What about getting a "gift" from someone in the states ?? Would there be an inspection and duties ?...

Water pump installed and the clutch has engaged and disengaged a few times on test running. Gonna drive a bit and see.
