Are you guessing on the 63-64 Impala or are there one of each. I would expect you to know the difference between them in the blink of an eye...

If it is saying wrong password, etc. use the "forgot password" feature and see if it sends one to you. Their computer is recognizing your email addy from somewhere.

I am not the guy that can help you. Try to find a 12 year old. They understand computers.

Yesterday I spend the entire afternoon doing something that I would have thought was going to take me an hour at best. Not only did it take me the whole afternoon it kicked my ever loving butt! I finished up the day and went in the house like I had dug a friggin hole with a shovel to bury the car!

Going back and forth under the car working in a very tight area using mostly one hand at a time was the problem, honestly I was blown away at how this kicked my butt, this tiny project, Geeez, anyway what I did was replace my brake light switch on Marge. Not just replace it but change it, I recently found that the hydraulic original did not work well with how I drive her. I am very easy on the brakes, coasting a lot to slow down and I simply don't apply much pressure to stop her. The problem with the pressure switch is it takes much more pedal pressure to make those lights light than I ever would have thought! I caught on one day last week when I backed up to a car and was hitting the brakes, I had to push damn hard to see those tail lights reflecting on the car behind me. HOLY CRAP I had to push hard, MUCH harder than I do when I am driving it. So here I am driving to work every day through 15 stop lights and no one is seeing brake lights when they come up behind me! And with the time change I will be in total darkness, I can't have that. So I put an old switch style that I have seen before, don't remember which of my cars had this, I think the truck now come to think of it. Anyway I went and got a manual switch and put it in, and came in the house and collapsed on the couch.

Brian

I must be a "vintage mechanic" - that's a shot of the one I use all the time!

Ditto! I've had the same light since I graduated high school in 1968. I think mine is a Sun, so maybe they built them for Sears.
