Yeah, I looked all over the bondo can and didn't see 'nuthin about using it to set lift posts, either. But, I do remember seeing reference to some type of "setting/leveling" compound when reading about another lift installation. Might have even been here... Anyway, I just thought I'd throw the question out there and see if anyone spits at it. It's main function is to help distribute the load from the post to the concrete after you shim them vertical.

You want to plunk down a good blob of non shrink grout. Not the tile kind of course. In the cement section of box stores.
