1930u- Mounting the fuel pump and filter - May 7, 2013

Over the weekend I did a road trip to Summit Racing and Jegs to pick up more parts. I needed gauges and many other parts and also bought my fuel pump and filter. I originally thought about mounting the fuel pump on a panel in the rumble compartment but really hated the thoughts of having in the car. Instead I installed the pump and the fuel filter on the right frame rail near the middle of the passenger door. I have bought many parts online but the gauges I wanted to see, touch and compare. I’m not going to use a speedo and Jegs by far had the best selection. I really like the old Stewart Warner look but wanted all electric gauges. I picked an old school looking set from Auto Meter…definitely has the late 60’s early 70’s look and that’s my theme.
