I bought my 1957 Plymouth Plaza in 1992 for $200. It had a lot of dents and dings in it but overall seemed reasonably solid. the Plaza was the smallest, cheapest and lightest of the Chrysler line up in 57, and this one had a 6 cyl and 2 speed powerflight automatic in it.
My original intention was to build it as a nostalgia drag car with a hot 440. Running my own garage, a divorce and other projects resulted in the car setting in a storage shed for the next 12 years.
