1988 Suburban TH-700R4 to SM-465 Swap. - Nov 10, 2009

I did actually go out and work on it some, but again- I waited until after dark yet again for some reason.

Photo 1 shows a section of an old truck I cut the clutch rod hole section out of the firewall and floor for future reference. I found one source for the clutch rod boot, but it isn't the correct boot and has 3 holes to mount it unlike the truck having 2.
I took a half dozen pictures with a ruler in place for triangulation for location of the holes I needed to drill in the floor of the Suburban.

Photo 2 shows the location of that pushrod hole in regards to the location on the firewall to floor seam, and in proportion to the steering column hole and brackets.

Photo 3 shows the hole is 2 inches in diameter, and the 2 mounting screws are 3 inches center-to-center from each other and an equal distance from the center of the pushrod hole.
