4-Bar rear suspension - Aug 27, 2013

Mid January of 2012, and am starting on the rear suspension. After a little research I decided to go with a kit from Full Tilt street rods. The kit was made to fit my frame, and bolted up to the front leaf spring brackets. There was some welding involved, a solid shaft crossmember on top, then the brackets on the axle tube. Note the angle finder on the yoke of the differential. I did a lot of questioning about alignment and angles, and got my best info on this web site. Again I measured about a hundred times before welding. Trying to keep in budget, and remembering this is not necessarily a show truck, I did not get the chrome, but used a chrome paint to give it some notice underneath.
