I got fairly lucky and found the engine I wanted. It's a 1966 casting 030 over. I busted an exhaust flange, and had to take the head off to get welded. It turned out one cylinder had a leaky head gasket. I fixed that, glass beaded the intake and put everything back together.
Painted the block and modeled the lemans valve covers, for inspiration :D
