Cut a piece of 1/4 " Plexi for the little window, and stuck it in temporarily. Managed to get the horn and blinkers to work on the Opel, test drove the Doodle-bug. It works a little better.
Then went to Junior's Junkyard, and bought a shoulder harness and seat belt for the Chevy, and found a cheap pair of needle nose pliers and 16 cents cash money. Junior let me steal a floor mat for the doodle bug too.
Then got plugs for the the Doodle-bug and generic plug wires for the Opel, and bottle of MIG gas..
And somehow today, the Chevy stopped looking like a pile of parts and started looking like a vehicle.
