A steel box section frame was fabricated to attach the boot skin to. This [next task] will be screwed into position on the frame and adjusted to line up with the bodies contour. When all is well fiberglass will be laid around the frame and skin making a rigid boot lid.
Using the W from the Willys logo I fabricated hinges from 8mm square bar. The welds will be blended at a later date.
