I bought this 48 Chevy Sedan Delivery in Minot, ND in 2004. I just got started on it in 2010. First we stripped the car and took the body off the frame and had it steel bead blasted in Traverse City, MI and we primed it in a friend's paint booth. Next we stripped the frame and took it to Wheelock & Sons near Interlochen, MI to be blasted and powder coated dark green ($175). I got a 10-bolt from a 74 Firebird and had Wheelocks blast and powder coat ($53). I put new axles and bearings in the rear and new drum brakes (drums were nearly new but replaced everything else). I installed a rear end suspension kit from Chassis Engineering and plumbed the rear brakes. I am waiting for the front crossmember from Chassis Engineering now.
