All parts for bed came from LMC. The wood deck is white oak. I have two neighbors who do cabinet work. One of them got me the wood for 80.00 bucks. The other (who lives next door) cut the planks to size and mitered the groves for the metal strips. The board you see on the rear is to make sure all the welding keeps the back square
