The two panels were put together with vise-grips and pop rivets. Clecos would probably be better, but I haven't invested in them yet. Note I decided to cut out all of the beads upon further inspection. Measurements were taken and a fresh piece of 18 ga. was cut for the replacement material.
The cuts were made on the taped lines.
Sections of the bottom of this panel were good enough to leave in place. This was a big help as the short segments aided in lining up the new panel along the bottom edge.
