November of 2011. Christmas came early as I received a shipment from LNC truck parts. I immediately got started cutting out the old floor panels, toe panels, and cowl panels. In order to not have to brace to much I'm doing it in sections, leaving the floor under the seat alone. As you can see in the pictures I also left some lower firewall intact and pieced the new panels in. It was a lot of work, and the replacement panels were not perfectly made (probably Chinese). Lots of trimming and bending and welding, but I am satisfied with the end result. I did go with the large transmission plate in the middle, and will cut it out later to fit a floor shifter for the 700R4 tranny.
