I needed to fabricate a special tool to remove the valve cages from the pump body. Once that was done, it only took a few minutes to remove and replace the defective valves. New ethanol-resistant rubber diaphragm and gaskets installed. Tomorrow it goes back on the car and it will be time to fire up that vintage Hemi.
