Once the f.s.p. fits the panel tightly you can trim the panel to size. The 1/2" blue tape has been added to determine the correct size of the panel. The additional 1/2" will wrap to the door shell after tipping.
At this point the panel needs tipping for the flanges and the bottom rolled. I hope to be able to include those operations soon.
The remaining photo's show how this panel will look once installed. The objective is to use no bondo and to not be able to see the welded seam.
