The driver's door patch panel is very slick. I removed the rust same as before and left room for the body man . I hammered and chiseled off the old door ends after I cut the panel off. This new panel slides up from the bottom with lips for the bottom and both sides so it fits great. I bents the lips over a little so they stay on but making it easy to remove, tack well and fill.
