Last Monday and Tuesday (October 8 & 9) my kids were out of school, so Eric and I completed stripping the burned engine, bolted the engine to the tranny (no clutch or flywheel), and began to test fit the engine into the car. Our goal is to install the engine using as many GM parts as possible to cut down on the expense. When Eric is out of college, he can go buy all the goodies for the car he wants. In the first and second pictures you can see the S & P engine mounts installed. After we got the engine leveled up and centered, we bolted on the AC compressor and the alt and Power Steering to check for clearance problems. We had problems everywhere!!!!
