Fiero Project - Nov 18, 2009

The interior was pretty rough in the car when I got it. The PO had painted/dyed the interior parts and carpet blue. The trim pieces were a silver/blue and the carpet was dark blue. Fiero's never had blue interior. They were either tan, Grey/black or beechwood (fancy name for tan). It was basically thrown in the car and was in pretty bad shape. The headliner was shot too - fabric hanging. The plan was to tear it all out, clean, repair and paint/dye everything in Black and dark Grey. I used Rustoleum Textured Plastic paint for all the plastic trim pieces. Dupli Color Fabric & Vinyl paint for the carpet, Dash and door panels. I also used the Rustoleum Fabric and Vinyl paint but was not happy wiht the way it covered the carpet and the vinyl. The Dupli Color was far superior. Price was about 10 cents different per can and the DC was cheaper.
