Frame Off - Aug 15, 2013

On of the next steps in restoration is getting the frame off. A somewhat easy job if you have a engine lift and some rust buster
All but 3 body bolts I had to saw in half to get them off
Oh well I'll hafta cut the floors to get the bolts out once the frame is off

I used the engine picker in the front and nothing in the rear. I had it up on blocks so made a hold system with blocks and 2x4's to keep it up. Then lowered the rear frame after picking up the front.
Works pretty well and for 1 person system its effective

The body is very stable and the frame I had to drop very low to clear the 2x4's to roll the frame out
The rear pumpkin is sitting on a Harbor Freight 4 wheel dolly.....low budget
