Here are a few pics that I have taken of our back yard over the years.

When we moved into this house in 1991, the back yard was full of snow ... so we couldn't really tell that previous owner had just finished doing a LOT of landscaping.
Back in those days, the area to the east of our house was pasture land ... and people used to board and graze horses out there. Other than the smell (especially during spring thaw) I have really missed that

By 2004, the area behind us was all developed. Our trees and shrubs had all matured, and were becoming a lot of work to keep up with ... especially since my wife had started working, too.

I had rented a bobcat, and cleared a big portion of the back yard and fences in preparation for the garage. I saved one of those raised beds so that we could still enjoy fresh garden potatoes.
