Had to stop and deal with the fuel system. The LT1 takes a high pressure fuel pump. For both efficiency and noise it should be in the tank. Unfortunately the Stude tank is too shallow. Adding a sump to the bottom is most efficient, but it would show from the rear. Instead I added a tower to the top of the tank and built baffles around it to control sloshing in the tank. Once it was welded up, I used a kit from Eastwoods to strip and seal the tank inside and painted the outside. Should work fine and looks stock from outside.
