Photo # 1 - I now move on to foaming the roof panel. This panel will have two matching pleated inserts. I draw the design for the inserts on some black waterproof backer board and then cut out the inserts. Here I am using the latest high tech system for drawing the curved corners of the backer boards.
Photo # 2 - I then clamp the two backer boards together and use my air sander to clean up the edges and make sure they match one another.
Photo # 3 - I had to include this shot just to show the trials of aging. I have to make notes to myself or I’ll surely end up making something inside out or backwards.
