Photo # 1 - For this next test panel I need to do some actual sewing so I figured this would be a good time to show the upholstery grade Tacsew machine I purchased. I got this new for $795 from SewingGold.com. I also got the $99 optional servo motor which allows me to stitch at a very slow and controllable speed (great for a novice like me).
Photo # 2 - Just had to throw in this shot to show you my view of the lake while I’m slaving away at the machine.
Photo # 3 - I went for a softer look with today’s panel. The insert is tuck and roll using 1/4" scrim backed soft foam. For the surround I once again used 1/4" closed cell hard foam.
