Ever seen a sagging headliner? you know the ones im talking about. where the headliner sags and rest on your head while your driving. when that disease starts there is NO truning back!
Thankfully they make restoration kits for this problem. Much cheaper then purchasing a remanufactured style. you simply take your old headliner out. sand down the ORIGINAL backer board so you get the OLD headliner material off. Then using the 3m glue spray designed for foam backed material you apply the NEW material to the original board. trim the edges and its as good as new!
