Today was paint the sanded parts. We arrived at the paint booth at 9:00 AM and it took an hour to set every thing up, wipe down with thinner, final tack cloth and mix the paint. Started painting at 10 AM and finished the 3rd coat at 1:15 PM. Looks great!! Yes, I think it is black. Initial look is we will not have to buff, but the Shop owner thinks we should to get that show truck look. JB told him he wanted to drive it, not put it in a museum!!! We finished the day doing the final prep of the bed, which will go in to the booth in the AM after we remove all these pieces. The first pic is a late one of the muffler hangers waiting for the bed to be put on for the last time!!
