I hadn't really been posting much for progress pics in the garage, so it's time for a small update and another how-to. I've now wired all but 4 of the lights that I had posted about a ways back. 10 down, 4 to go. One thing is for certain. I couldn't hack it as an electrician.
Picture #1 shows how I de-hard wired my lights. They had initially been wired direct to a building's wiring circuits. I've added plug-ins so I can remove them if the need arises. I grounded the green wire to the body of the light, and just tied in the remaining black wire to the cord's black wire, and the white to the white one.
Picture #2 shows how I am hanging them from my OSB, and how you are supposed to secure the cord to the light. Simple S-hooks for the hanging, and electrical clamps for the securing.
Picture #3 shows the first "run" of lights in my garage. Sure brightens things up...
