Finally a chrome trim is needed to finish the job off.
5mm ali was machine cut to shape and stepped on the inside to fit neatly over the lens.
These have just arrived back from my machine man.
I first bent them over to fit the contour of the wing, then laid them in place to check for fit and look.
Although they do fit they are too fat so my next job will be to cut the od and id untill I am happy. The outer edge will then be radiused, ready for polishing and chroming.
For added safety high level LED brake lights are also intalled behind the rear windows
