Power Steering Pump - Jan 18, 2012

One of the challenges I created for my self was the power steering pump.Between moving the motor forward and adding the front cage bars, it did not leave much room for the power steering pump. The front motor mounts are also in the way. I've been using Alan Grove brackets so far,and used one for the pump also.I'm using a GM type 2 pump for its small size. I ended up having to cut the end of the front cage bar loose to try and get things mocked up into place. It turned out that I could weld the pump bracket into my existing motor mount and could make things work,(not the best looking, but functional.)The pump has a serpentine pulley on it right now, ordered a v-groove pulley that's not here yet.
