Rear Fenders and Rear Suspension - Aug 18, 2006

The original steel fenders were repairable but new fiberglass replacements only cost $250/pair, so saved a few bucks and alot of labor. You can see that the original rear was not centered in the fender. That was fixed with placement of the new rear, springs and coil overs. Also install a sway bar to help handling since the car is so tall in back.

With the trunk floor removed, (to be replaced with new steel) you can get a top view (from the front looking to the rear) of the new rear set up. Ford 9 inch with 3.73 gears and posi unit, leaf springs from Posie's, coil overs are from Pro Shocks. Built a new upper shock mount bar. New poly gas tank is there also. Got it from Tanks, Inc
