Just got the motor and tranny from rebuilder. He has a good reputation for doing engines for truck pullers and tractor pullers, and has a full machine shop and transmission rebuilding service. I traded him the 350 I took out for this 350, bored .040 over, with a strong cam. Should still idle pretty well but have great power. I topped it off with a Edelbrock Performer intake and a Edelbrock 750cfm carb.The 700r4 was completely rebuilt. and I'm putting a Lokar floor shifter on top. I temporarily reset the cab to get the right spacing for weld-in motor mounts. I hopefully left enough firewall clearance to remove distributor if needed. I went with tight fit headers for clearance.
