Summer weather has been typically the same, so in between the showers i've been clocking up the miles.
5th Sept though the Island held it's first Drag 'n' Drift event put together by myself and 5 other members of the Manx Drag Racing Association. Since Feb this year we have been knocking on the doors of local businesses for sponsorship. They gave generously to enable us to put the event on. Although the weather wasn't ideal, everyone enjoyed the day and went home smiling. We were too as nearly 2000 people came through the gate. Some achievement for such a small Island.
