While fixing the gaps between the fascia and hood, I began to wonder if I was doing the right thing or creating an shpe for the front of the car. A quick check with the tape measure and a couple home made contour guages confirmed that the shelby front fascia lacked symmetry (was no the same shape or dimension from side to side)
I was okay I giess and moved on.
I had to reinforce the fiberglass on the backside of the fascia in some places, as I was about to sand through.
I layed on some more mat and resin, then did a heckuva lot of sanding to get the fascia back to the rough shape it should be.
