Luckily the steer clear lower bolts went right through the mid plate, and I put in a support for the 2 upper bolts. I had to make a relief for the the steer clear unit in the firewall, and luckily it fits perfectly behind the head. The first shot is the interior without the column or u joint installed. There's just enough clearance between the engine and steer clear unit that they won't rub.
