After upgrading to a 383 stroker that is making 516 lb/ft @ 2800 rpms, decided not to subject that little Muncie to that torque and bought a new TKO 600 5 speed with 0.64 overdrve. Should allow easy freeway cruising 65 mph @ 1725 rpms. You might think I'm geared too tall, but the car weighs all of 1790 lbs full of fuel.
