The seat back is even simpler. There's just the insert, the back panel, and the listings. You'll notice some oil staining on the passenger's side bottom corner. Remember that starter that was laying on the seat in the very first picture in this journal? Bingo. It was oily, and after sitting there for who knows how long, that oil soaked into the vinyl. Not much made it to the foam, and that was cleaned up before I steamed it. Bob loses his sense of humor really fast when people bring oily, greasy, or smelly things into the classroom, so I cleaned it up before I take it to class next week.
Picture 1: The seat back taken apart. The listings are still attached in this picture. Not much to it, is there?
Picture 2: The oil soaked cover and listing. This was a bit of a mess.
Picture 3: And now a word from our sponsor... Bob recommended a good household cleaner rather than a solvent to get rid of the oil. I sprayed it down, and, being careful not to remove my index marks, wiped it down. The foam behind the vinyl is beyond cleaning up, so I'll just have to be careful.
