Much has happened since my last entry. I sent the heads of my 455 to the engine shop to get cleaned and a 3 angle valve job done. My father and I began welding in the brackets for the rear ends triangulated 4-bar and I finally got the coilover shocks.
I spent 3 days this weekend working in the shop and finally have some pictures. Today my nephew and I began placing the motor and trans so we could fab the motor mounts. Once we got the transmission tailshaft angles corect, I realized the motor was sitting lower than I had originaly thought it would. The plan for the motor mounts now is to fabricate a motor mount crossmember. First reason is to provide better strength between the mount and the frame. The second reason is to provide a skid plate for the Oil Pan. Hopefully it will protect the oil pan from those pesky speed bumps.
