Last time I had the race car out it would sometimes pop out of 2nd and grind going into 4th. Since the engine is out I took the tranny to HP trans to have them go through it again. Dropped it off in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon.
They changed some internals, installed a new side plate, replaced all the linkage bushings with steel and tightened up my shifter. All at no charge. Wasn't expecting to pay much since they went through it before but for them to feel the need to do all that and not charge is why I keep using them. Real good guys to deal with.
I had these rims I'd planned on installing on my open trailer to match the Pontiac rims on all my Firebirds. But since I'm getting an enclosed this time I'll use Aluminum rims on the trailer. So I cleaned them up and put them on a Pontiac site for sell. I'd planned on sandblasting and restoring them but to sell I'll let them go cheaper as is than if I blasted them.
Also sold a set of TRW pistons I no longer need as well. Gotta love this internet for swapping parts.
Only thing is, since I got ripped off by Backyard Parts I lost some trust in people. I hate that more than loosing the money.
