Look what some idiot did to the front frame! There was a Cadillac power steering unit in there and they cut this chunk out of the frame so it would all fit. It weakened the frame significantly and it ended up being slightly twisted. I was already paying someone to put in an independent front suspension and a 73 Chevy ½-ton rear end and new rear suspension. He happened to have a complete front frame section for this truck just sitting in his shop… cut and weld is my motto!
Off it goes to the shop… It is done! Now it is pretty… Hand painted with nasty stuff.
