The Electronic Spark Control (ESC) Module and connector --- I'm hoping --- should be all that I need to run the knock gauge. I think I am going to the wrecking yard for those items, but I've also seen correctly color-coded connectors on e-bay that match up to the Casper Knock Gauge
Terminal A is not used
Terminal B is switched power
Terminal C is the signal wire, which splices in to the wire that goes to Terminal B7 on an ECM-equipped (TBI) system. I don't believe that the ECM provides any feedback to the gauge
Terminal D is for engine ground
Terminal E goes to the knock sensor
