If you use a Felpro one piece (blue) gasket with rtv where it recommends you will be fine. Been using that gasket on over 20 motors now with pans older then me without a issue for years. My junk does not leak. It might stain the concrete with rust though.

I would however upgrade the hardware. How old is your hardware and was it junk to start with? While Moroso makes nice pans the hardware included in most "kits" often ends up going into my scrap pile.

Nothing like installing 12 or so then have 13 snap off because you used junk hardware. Pull the pan, remove the bolt that if your lucky broke off with something to grab, then reinstall the pan. I am cheap but I have done this enough times to spend some cash on good hardware from the start.

Pull an old bolt and throw a gauge against it. Run a tap up inside each hole cleaning out any gunk. At the very least hook a nozzle onto your air hose and give the trigger a little tap shooting air into each hole.

Install new hardware upgrading the hardware if possible. I hate cap screws for headers. But, I love them on the oil pan. Your able to install the things easier without the socket hitting the inside of the pan lip. They are often cheap with a black oxide finish or stainless if your one of those guys who likes shiny things.

Check your bolt, and clearance inside the pan of course. But if it is 1/4x20 1/2"(thread depth) then these will work to replace those inner bolts that are prone to breaking from time to time.

10.9 Hardware, washers, lock washers, and a impact socket all for under $30 to your door. A one piece impact socket is going to hold up better then some of the 2 piece stuff. Your not putting a ton of torque into these that just avoids you paying shipping if you do not have prime.
