Am laying out my SS exhaust under my 51 Chevy P/u. Engine is SBC w/TPI.
My primary question is where to locate the flex tube, if I use them at all?
The flex tubes are SS like these.
I think they can best go just before the "X" section as seen here

I am using V-Band joint clamps and plan on using these at muffler intake (Muffler is in fromt of rear axle just out of view in the above picture) and one where pipe goes up over rear axle to allow easier removal.
Comments and suggestions appreciated. I only want to do this job once.
