I have a 79 camaro , mild 383 has the close ratio m21 saginaw, 4.11 posi. I was wondering if M21 is better then a m20. It's my friend muncie for $600. It's a street car that even with a saginaw chirps gears. I was wondering what would be better close or wide ratio. Thanks

just got a 63 impala that has a supposed recent rebuild on a muncie 4 speed. It hung up in first and after messing with linkage it goes in reverse but freezes and wont go in forward gears. not sure if linkage is lined up properly. it did shift fine through all gears only got about 3 miles on it...
