    I just bought a 1950 Chevy truck with a SBC 350 engine. The temperature gauge sensor is in the intake manifold near the front. I want to install an electric fan with thermostat control. Should I move the temperature gauge sensor? If so where should it be installed?

    I'm trying to find a suitable alternate location for a temp sender in my 1986 Chevy K10. The original spot between 1 and 3 is blocked by the headers. So I'm wondering if i can use the port on top of the intake manifold. there are two pics attached. would this be an OK spot for a temp sending...

    I got a 2004 z71 with the 5.3 vortec and whenever the outside temp is over about 70 my engine wants to jump around in temp. It usually runs just below 210 I'd guess about 195 or 200 but when it's 70 plus outside it will run up to about 220 which is pushin the safe zone and I'm not racin around...
