I spent most of the day on Friday sanding down primer and filler. For the most part I worked the entire body down to 80-100 grit and a few places like the rear fenders and valance panel are finished to 220 grit. After that I sprayed on a couple of thin coats of PPG epoxy black satin primer just to seal everything down. The satin black primer brought out all the dents and dings that I missed along the way. All in all it’s not to bad and with a little bumping the dents will be gone.

Way over my head on this one! But I love this car.

I must say, you're quite an inspiration. I've been reading your posts and recently got a 1929U and was wondering, do you have anything left of the old 4 door sedan that you mentioned in entry #7? I'm having a heck of a time finding stuff for the car. Any direction you can point is appreciated! Thanks again!

Hi Joe - I appreciate your comments. To be honest this is the worst car I've ever brought home and I was in way over my head on this one. It's finally turning the corner though.

I had the same problem. Not many parts out there for Q's, U's and PA's. I made all the sheet metal parts for mine by hand. What a job. I do have four really nice sedan doors....
