There was a street legal dwarf in a 'Hot Rod' magazine a few years back, a 37 Ford, IIRC. It was a neat looking car. I thought of building one, just for kicks, but never got past the dreaming stages.

Now, personally, I wouldn't have one. Too much fun, too much potential for traffic tickets, and I would have to arm wrestle my wife as to whose turn it was to play with the car. She would win... :D

BB2, I'm not sure what he had to go through in his state, but I've seen a number of legal, street driven dwarfs. This particular one was at Back To The Fifties (Mlps/St. Paul) a couple years back. Note the size of the guys standing right next to the car.
