does anyone know where i can get a master cylinder for my 49 chrysler thats not over priced

supply and demand.. not a popular item so those that do have them charge more because they have to keep them around.. if you found 1, be lucky that you found 1 and get it b4 there discontinued.. otherwise buy a rebuild kit if you have a good core.. theres not much around for the old Mopar's so the prices are a lot more than the more popular Chevy's and Fords of the same era.. parts are available but you gotta be willing to pay for them

The dual reservoir kit is a good option for a safety upgrade to stock brakes. Hope this helps. :thumbup:
