There is a 56 international pick-up for sale around here and i was wondering if it would have front brakes or not? someone i know said it wouldn't and other people said would, would it?

It should have front brakes. It will not be disc brakes though.

Front and rear brakes became pretty much standard equipment in the 30s, with hydraulic brakes on all 4 corners soon after.

in 56 IH had 4 wheel drums, probably about 12 inch, thats what my 46 has, and the parts are easy to find.
