after seeing that grill i want one for my '77 nova and I've looked every were but haven't had any luck with finding any aftermarket grills just replacement. if any one can help me weather the grill in the picture is aftermarket or custom i would like to know how to get one.

That is a factory issue SS (SuperSport) grill, also used on the Rally Nova's in those years with a different front emblem. Your only hope is to find one used and recondition it, they are not available new

'75 and '77 standard grilles are the same, but I don't know about the rally units. Might see if they'll let you try it out before you buy it.

The lighting in that pic makes me think that rally grill would look good with the egg-crate part done in flat or semi-flat black.

Yes, it will fit. '75-79 Novas are all the same except for minor differences in the trim(like the pattern of the grill ) I did a '76 years ago, don't remember any differences in the mounting points, but check to be sure. It will fit the opening, I just don't remember if the mounting tabs have different extensions on them. Don't recall any difficulties however, it seemed like it just screwed in.
