I have a 1995 K1500 Suburban with 4L60E. Seemingly no OD when in the OD gear. Let up off throttle, it will upshift to OD, but once I give any amount of throttle it goes right down to 3rd, with the 100rpm lockup functional. Sometimes when it's cold OD will work but not for long and not that often. Been driving in 3 so I don't burn anything up. Can you maybe point me in a direction on what that could be...servo, solenoid..?

Is the 4l60E trans fresh or old high mileage unit? Is the Check engine light on?
